OBJECTIVES

Consider the social and environmental impact in all decision-making

Have a shared vision that prioritizes people and the planet.

Strengthen positioning

Affirm its role as a leader as a responsible company within a more traditional industry

MAIN ISSUES

Managing the numerous social and environmental challenges present in the industry: pressure on natural resources, soil quality, impact on biodiversity, greenhouse gas emissions, food security, hiring foreign workers, etc!

RESULTS

To address these challenges

Already advantaged by its sustainable greenhouse agriculture approach and the choice to heat with biomass and electricity, we helped Gen V better structure its practices and measure its impact more precisely. We also formalized certain initiatives for the benefit of employees working in the greenhouses (very often from underrepresented groups).

Our favorite initiative (among several) 💙

Improving the workplace health and safety policy (a must!) and the structured training plan that allows the entire team to fully realize themselves at work.
