Practicing your listening — where do we start?

Communication: curiosity, vulnerability & listening.
Alright, alright. Practicing your listening — where do we start?
3 levels to practice (and unlock) for the coming month:
Beginner level: listen without doing anything else (flip the phone face-down, finish that email later!)
Intermediate level: don't assume how the other person feels — let them tell you!
Expert level: don't be planning your reply while the other person is talking (normalize silences, please).
The month's top picks
(ideas to take with you!) 📦
- A good practice: a return plan ( re-onboarding) for returns from parental leave. 🤰 Like the one from our dear Alexandra, for example!
- A perk: reimbursing the SÉPAQ pass to make nature more accessible, paired with flex hours to enjoy it before the 5 pm darkness.
- pssssst: have you checked our smoothie-schedule menu?
- A podcast: Les Dérangeants 🎙
- A book we keep mentioning: 📚 You're Not Listening, Kate Murphy
- A book on our wishlist: 📚 Hidden Potential, Adam Grant
