B Corp news 🗞

B Corp Retreat: Thomas had the chance to participate in the B Corp Retreat held in Vancouver. Over 700 people from various B Corps across North America gathered to rethink the business landscape. He even had the opportunity to speak with the person responsible for creating the new B Corp standards 🤯.

- His highlight moment 😍: Meeting numerous entrepreneurs and members of the Indigenous community in Vancouver (unceded, ancestral, and traditional territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlil̓wətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh)). He even had the chance to discuss with other B Corps about ways to get involved in the Indigenous communities around us.

- Key takeaway for B Corps 👋: The new questionnaire that will include the new standards will not be ready until June 2025. For companies that need to recertify before that date, the process will therefore be done with the current version.
